clean rooms with simple Italian decor. Stunning views of the Tyrrhenian Sea and terraced gardens. Easy access to a small rocky beach with seating and ladder to the sea. Enjoyable breakfast with variety. Helpful and friendly staff.
Would be happy to recommend.

A charming smallish b&b hotel, set in a beautiful, steeply descending to the sea, forested property. Has a huge pool. A great walk down to the crashing sea. I was upgraded to a 'country-style' room with shared balcony and sea view - which was great and hugely appreciated (as apparently Booked.net rooms are normally standard - ie no view/no deck). Courteous staff. Standard Italian breakfst
Need a car for all: Close-by restaurants 1-3 kms away and not accessible on foot. And Maratea upper town itself, is up a very steep, windy road, approx 5 Km away

The hotel is located in a scenic area with breathtaking views that are sure to leave you amazed. The pool area is a great spot for relaxation and sunbathing. The hotel staff is helpful and friendly, always ready to assist you in any way they can. the hotel offers a private beach, which is a great advantage and perfect for those who want a peaceful and tranquil experience.
The hotel has several drawbacks. The breakfast is very poor with limited options and the quality of the food leaves a lot to be desired.

Nice setting
This is not a place for young travellers / couples. Over 50s made up the vast majority of the guests and the place seems much more suited to them. The whole area was a bit strange, very much faded seaside glamour. Can't understand why it has such a good rating on booking. Breakfast was poor, no restaurant at the hotel, old, creaky rooms... Just a very average place. Can do much better in the immediate (northern) vicinity.

The location of this hotel is simply stunning. It is nestled amongst pine forests on a fairly steep slope down to the sea, offering breathtaking views. The grounds surrounding the hotel are very well tended, with a gardener busily watering early in the morning.
All in all, our stay at this hotel was fantastic and there was really nothing that could be faulted.

Excellent setting, pool and access to coast.
The very remote setting, which is without a doubt a plus, means that the lack of restaurant on site is a definite drawback. And there are only very few in the surrounding area, all of which you need to drive to.

our escape from the city chaos in maratea was unforgettable, especially thanks to the breathtaking views, friendly staff, and private beach at villa delle meraviglie.
No dinner option available.

Nestled among beautiful pine forests and close to the seaside, this hotel is perfect for nature lovers. With a walk to the sea and a pool tucked away in the trees, guests can enjoy peace and quiet away from the hustle and bustle of the city. The well-appointed rooms are clean and comfortable, and the terrace offers stunning views of the surroundings. The highlight was the delicious breakfast served on the terrace with an excellent range of pastries, cakes, fruit, cheeses, and juices.
While this hotel may seem like the perfect natural retreat, it might not be suitable for everyone. The hotel does not have a restaurant, and guests may have to drive to the nearest town for dinner.

This hidden gem blew my mind! From the breathtaking views to the friendly staff, everything was beyond expectations. The lush gardens, refreshing pools, and private beach were simply INCREDIBLE. The location, although remote, added to its charm. Can't wait to visit again! 15 words

Beautiful landscaping, pleasant pool area, friendly staff, good breakfast, convenient access to the sea.
Felt welcome, no complaints.

We stayed in a hotel with a superb location by the ocean, enjoying the stunning view between badly topped pines. Some rooms had an ocean view, which was nice, but the bathroom was barely functional, making our stay less than ideal. The staff was friendly but didn't seem to take guest satisfaction seriously. Breakfast was nothing to write home about; it was quite average and left us wanting more. Facilities were quite limited, with only 2 pools to choose from and no play area for kids.
The hotel's limited dinner service was a major drawback, as we had to venture out to find decent meals.

During my recent business trip to Maratea, I had the opportunity to stay at the charming Villa Delle Meraviglie as chosen by my director. The hotel offered a delightful experience with its serene atmosphere. Guests can relax by one of the hotel's 2 outdoor swimming pools, taking in the stunning surroundings. It was truly a great way to unwind after a long day of work, ensuring a peaceful and rejuvenating stay.
Difficult to find, especially at night, down very steep twisty road.
